Nickel Alloys

Nickel Alloys

Nickel, in combination with other metals and materials, has led to some excellent alloys that are in great demand.

Three of the most common specialist alloys are INCONEL, HASTELLOY & MONEL which belong to a family of nickel-based Superalloys that are typically used in high temperature applications and in environments that experience high pressure. These alloys are very versatile and can be used for many purposes including turbine blades and heat exchanger tubing, as well as Formula One and jet engine exhaust systems.

Properties :

  • 1800°F / 982°C oxidation resistant
  • Excellent weldability
  • Extremly malleable & Ductile
  • Non-magnetic
  • Outstanding corrosion resistance
